ABOUT ME

"Happiness does not reside in strength or money;

it lies in rightness and many-sidedness."

-DEMOCRITUS

I am a lifelong Arkansan, husband, father of two, was a teacher at the Washington County Juvenile Detention Center (JDC) for the last 8 years, and am proud to be running for Washington County Judge. I started attending Quorum Court meetings several years ago am disappointed about how divisive and dysfunctional the court and many county departments have become.

I believe in compromise, civil discourse, showing respect for one another, and listening to each other.  Most of us aren’t Red or Blue.  Most of us are somewhere in the middle.  Most of us want to work together.  Most of us are Purple

I choose love and compassion for one another over fear of one another.  I have learned that the more we listen to people with diverse opinions and backgrounds, the more we find we have in common. I enjoy discussions from all viewpoints. I have had many long and sincere conversations with my conservative friends over the years. We all have a lot more in common than ways we differ.  Let’s operate on that common ground.  Let’s change how we govern.  Let’s change how we interact with each other.

Voter registration deadline is 10/10.

Early voting starts 10/24.

Election Day is 11/8
